Week 9: Space + Art
The topic of space ties in almost all of the topics that we have discussed this quarter: math, art, consciousness are some. Space is something that we know a lot about, but there is still so much about it that is unknown. When I first think of space and art together, I first think of star constellations, such as the little and big dipper. Many things that are in space can be seen as art, such as shooting stars, comets, and the different planets. There is also the Milky Way.

If it is looked at in a biblical way, one could say that space and earth, being a planet, is God's artwork. He spent so much time trying to perfect the world and the future worlds that we have discovered and the worlds that we are still discovering.

In a video by Carl Sagan called "Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space", Sagan explores the possibilities of future life as we, as the human race, continues to explore the never-ending galaxies that are in space. For example, NASA is working on a project where they are trying to get people to live on Mars, to see if there is a potential future of living there in case it is needed.

Hi Hannah, I really enjoyed your post this week and think you added some great points to the discussion. Space can definitely be looked at as artwork, and religiously as God's artwork. I find it so interesting how there could be life on other planets that we have not discovered, or to think about the possibility of humans living on Mars. Great work!
